I was introduced to Pilates during college, 7 years ago. I wanted a workout routine that would tone my whole body. I needed something that I can do in my tiny dorm room, with minimum equipment and maximum results.
I was never a "gym" girl; I never enjoyed working out at gyms with a set of equipment that I didn't even know how works. It's totally fine if that's what you like, but it just wasn't for me.
So, if the whole heavy lifting and gym deal is not your thing, Pilates might be your hero. My point is there are other (probably BETTER) ways to move your body, look and feel amazing. Just try to find what feels good for your mind, body and spirit. Give Pilates and yoga a try, it might change your life!
